I've just tried disabling "Enhance pointer precision" to see if that helps... I realize not everybody has the same mouse -- but that's what worked for me. My mouse worked perfectly 2 months ago, soo its not a hardware issue. There are two ways to do this, the first one is to update via Device Manager and the second one is to update from the manufacturer's site.
