If you have a monitor which can display in both digital and analog mode, then it may have a VGA connector for analog mode and a DVI-D connector for digital mode. Of course, you won't be able to get to the BIOS this way but at least you can use Windows to try to figure out the problem. I've NEVER had so much trouble trying to update graphics drivers before. The video BIOS is responsible for making that work. which, of course does not seem to completely fix the issue.
