It is a really good connection but with my laptop it lags i don't know why ... you may have just saved me greatly.. I read up about this method a long time ago but there was no guide for it. there's about 30 wires and some are the same color. Sounds like you clipped the video and possibly the inverter cable too and shorted it all out in the process.
I have the bezel off the screen and both are intact. This broke the monitor free from the bottom portion of the computer and severaed the white and black wire. will it work if i set the resolution and timing on my graphics card.
