Usualy what I have found is that Windows Updates after you reboot triggers the Diagnostic Repair loop on the way back to windows, so windows doesn't start, you know. I cant do all of that myself. IT WILL restore, but when windows does come up, it goes to a blue "Please wait" screen that runs for a while, then hangs. It would seem an update has caused confusion.
