When you have "clean" installed Win 7, I would suggest that you get an Antivirus program Such as the 'free' Avira Antivirus. I have done system restore, manually entering the IP address, etc. For anyone that missed it, it's Internet Explorer tools menu, internet setting, connections, lan settings and make sure that "Use proxy server" is UNchecked. No proxies or anything like that, then.
