I am not sure where it goes but you could do a search for it on another working computer, then copy it to a flash drive, go to the non-working computer, The only thing I see the white cursor along with the normal safe mode text on teh screen. It worked with xp before so I'm semi lost. have a peek at these guys I only get the Toshiba screen and then it goes black for awhile, then the Toshiba screen again.

Nvidia's own driver got me past the welcome screen, but a few seconds after the welcome screen the display went black again. CS-for cable select, SL- for slave, and MA- for master. Indicator lights on the battery is ok and the plugin icon on the indicator means that it recognizes that the laptop is plugged. If your computer Laptop or PC, has a NVIDIA graphic card, it is most likely that your VC is the problem.
But now it's all upgraded and patched up to SP2 again and is working fine. If you have dell, don't bother calling they will just hold you up on the phone for three hours talking to some fool in India.P.S. The black screen shows after I have logged on. hardware reset - NOPE no dice, already boots to disk first..still…no dice..anyone got anything else to try??
